In the process of developing a master plan for the New Zoo of Doha, we were asked by the public works authority in Qatar (ASHGAL) to advise the existing zoo in zoological matters. Additionally, we were asked to evaluate the current collection and develop a strategy for managing the existing animals during the construction of the new zoo.
In the process of implementation of the master plan for the new Zoo of Doha, a detailed species and room book was developed by us, which included all valuable and necessary information on each single species included in the future master plan. This allowed the client to provide precise directives to the zoologically inexperienced future planning and construction companies.
